CKD

Completely Knocked Down (CKD) Kits is a collection of independent parts necessary to assemble a complete vehicle in a customer’s own plant. Automobile manufacturers traditionally supply their licensed businesses with vehicular kits meeting scale of knock-down standards agreed upon during the commercial negotiations.

CBU

Direct Knock Down (DKD), the entire vehicle is shipped, except for the tires and rims which are shipped locally. Directly knocking usually excludes certain components.
